A very brief introduction to setting the generator charge limit for the VFX(R) Outback inverters with a Mate3s controller.

If you need to change the current limit to accommodate a struggling generator, go to the Mate3s
Press the Lock button, turn the outer wheel until you see the password 141, Press the center of the scrolling wheel to enter the password, Next use the wheel to choose SETTINGS press enter
select the Inverter menu, press enter
Go to the second menu named AC input and current limits, press the center button to enter
Use the wheel to move the bracket to the Charger AC limit prompt and press ENTER to highlight the value. Now you can change the AC amperes allowed for charging the batteries. Once you have written the new Amp value, use the enter button to confirm the setting.
