This video shows how I install a sofa bed build in to a Mercedes Sprinter based minibus motorhome camper van conversion. The sofa bed build is very easy to construct and build yourself using just basic tools (See links below for items used). The sofa bed will be the main seating in the living area of the Mercedes Minibus van conversion and measures 140cm long. I made a removable section that places behind the drivers seat to extend the sofa to over 190cm long. The sofa has flip up front panels with removable legs which extends the sofa bed width ways out to 90cm wide which makes for a very comfortable bed. Once the camper van sofa bed build is complete, I upholster some camper van bed cushions myself and once finished, I'm very pleased with how they all turn out.
