People often complain that they don't have the money to spend to get started. I thought this would be a great opportunity to share some effective CHEAP OR EVEN FREE strategies to market early in your career.

1. Seminars at Churches, Libraries, Retirement Communities, etc. Most of the time these are free venues with a little bit of free promotion.

2. Salesdialers plus Sales Data Pro - $100 a month and you can SMILE AND DIAL.

3. BNI - Business Networking International. I did this early in my career. While I don't recommend necessarily making a permanent go at it, I am still benefiting from relationships formed then.

4. Community Development Foundation, Chamber of Commerce, Young Professionals Clubs, Rotary, etc. Get out and get involved. But be social. You won't regret it.

5. Personal Facebook Marketing. Check out the video for a good group sharing option that can trick Facebook's Algorithm into sharing your content with more people FOR FREE.

6. Cultivate leads by developing great referral partners with Pharmacists, Dentists, Insurance Agents for different line specialties, etc.

7. Write warm market! Never forget your warm market. Even if it's a product line you don't want to specialize in, your early years are all about getting business on the books that can help catapult you into the niche you wish to serve.
