As someone who experiences pain during and after running, I was keen to test out the Enertor PX1 insoles after seeing the "egg test" on social media.
In the test, they drop an egg on some standard insoles from some running trainers and on the Entertor PX1 insoles. When the egg lands on the standard insoles, unsurprisingly, the egg breaks. However when dropped on the PX1 insoles, the egg bounces off without any damage.
This was allegedly due to the amazing shock absorbing properties of the material used. I didn't completely believe it, but I was definitely interested in finding out more and testing it for myself.
A lot of historic issues I've had with running pain have been around my impact and overuse, including pain in my knees, shins, ankles and sometimes my hip. I'm under no illusion that this is most likely due to bad running form, but the prospect of reduced pain and injury from the insoles was definitely appealing.

The insolves are described as "Innovative Technology for Running and Sports, Proven Pain and Injury Relief and Plantar Fasciitis". They offer 89% more shock absorption, thinner and lighter, up to 2x softer and greater energy return per mm versus leading competitor.
Apparently the insoles are used by the military and by professional athletes, most notably including Olympic 100m runner Usain Bolt.
