Matt Zatorski is CEO of Long Term Rower Development, a modern rowing company focused on delivering innovative approaches to athletes in the sport, and Head Coach of the Seattle Scullers, a small boats focused performance team comprised of athletes along the Podium Pathway (from learning the skill to competing at the Youth Olympics and beyond).
In addition to the Seattle Scullers, Long Term Rower Development also houses Seattle Aerial Coaching, which features the latest in drone technology to deliver aerial video feedback and in-boat review.
Matt’s reputation as a leader in the rowing community extends nationally.
As a Head Coach, Matt established new benchmarks for success at programs in the Midwest (New Trier High School), the Northeast (CRI, Cambridge Rindge & Latin School) and the Pacific Northwest (Seattle Preparatory School). His experience extends to regional/national/international development camps, having acted as Head Coach for the Cambridge Boat Club Summer Sculling Programs, the USRowing Jr. National Team Sculling Development Camp and the Bermuda Rowing Association.
In 2010 Matt co-founded the Institute for Rowing Leadership (IRL), a professional development initiative based out of Community Rowing, Inc. The IRL is accredited at the highest level (5) and the only program of its kind in the world.
Additional past leadership roles for Matt include Rowing Program Head for the Lakeside School, Board Member and President for the Massachusetts Public School Rowing Association.
