On today's video, we'll be showing the Cabela's 10-tray dehydrator. I'll be using Hi Mountain jerky seasoning; steps listed below.
1. Thaw deer meat, mix in Hi Mountain jerky seasoning, let set in fridge for 24 hours.
2. Set up Cabela's Jerky gun and trays, load jerky gun and start filling each tray.
3. Turn dehydrator to 160 degrees, add all trays, cook for approximately 7-8 hours for desired crispiness.
4. Every 2 hours, rotate trays and dab off excess grease on jerky.
5. Remove jerky around the 7-8 hour mark, check for desired crispiness.
6. Dry jerky and place in ziploc bags, place in refrigerator or freezer to keep fresh until consumed.
