There's a first time for everything, and today sees a VWH making its first appearance on route 16. I was really surprised when I saw this on LVF this morning, so I had to go catch it. A VWH also made a rare appearance on the 332 today, but I didn't go for it. There's also a diversion on the route which starts at 7:25 for anyone who's interested. This was due to a burst water main on Edgeware Road, and was only a one way diversion, meaning the other direction was fine.
London bus route 16 is operated by Metroline Travel, operating out of Cricklewood (W) garage, allocated with Wright New Routemasters.
VWH2034 was new to Metroline Travel's Potters Bar (PB) garage in 2014, where it worked routes 34, 125, 134, 231, 263, 307, N20 and W8. It hasn't been in service since working route 231 on the 1st of December 2019, until it was transferred to Cricklewood (W), and began its operation on route 210 on the 22nd of July 2020. VWH2034 was subbed off after reaching the garage from when I got off at Kilburn High Road station, and went onto route 210 again later on in the day. This bus was blinded for Cricklewood Broadway, even though as you can see in the blind change at the beginning, Cricklewood Bus Garage is clearly on there. The Ibus announcements wasn't working properly either lol.
