AP Legislative Assembly former Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, aged 72 years, committed Life End at his residence in Hyderabad on Monday. After knowing it the family members shifted him to the Basavatarakam Hospital in Jubilee Hills. He is the founder trustee of the hospital. He is TDP's strong leader in Palnadu area in Guntur district, who elected as 6 times MLA, served as Health Minister and Home Minister in the united AP. He has been in the TDP till his last breath. Family members allege that harassment by YSRCP foisting cases against his family members was the reason for this act.
Kodela Siva Prasada Rao (May 1947-Sep 16, 2019 ) was an Indian politician from the Telugu Desam Party. Kodela Siva Prasada Rao was a Member of Legislative Assembly from Sattenapalle (Assembly constituency). He served for five years as the Speaker of the first Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from year 2014. In a career spanning three decades, he has served as a cabinet minister in N. T. Rama Rao and N. Chandrababu Naidu governments, serving at various times as Minister of Home affairs, Health, Major Irrigation department, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, and Civil Supplies.
