Jair Bolsonaro, the far-right former army captain who rose from ridiculed congressman to populist firebrand, officially took office as Brazil's president on Tuesday. Bolsonaro is the latest of several far-right leaders around the globe to come to power by riding waves of anger at the establishment and promising to ditch the status quo.
