Saturday, 09/14/2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:01 PM, MTA NYC Subway BMT West End Line, this is some train action (filmed from the northbound platform), at the 9th Avenue Station in Brooklyn. Seen here are some Westinghouse R68 (D) trains. Additionally seen here is a Budd R32 nostalgia train operating northbound and bypassing the station; this nostalgia train was en-route to 96th Street-2nd Avenue to conclude a fan-trip. These R32 stainless steel subway train cars ran in service from 1964 to 2022.

On this day as an honor for 60 years since the debut of R32s, an R32 train-set ran two roundtrips as ticketed New York Transit Museum sponsored fan-trips. Each departure was from 96th Street-2nd Avenue on the (Q) line (Manhattan), at both 10 AM and 2 PM.

Southbound, the R32 traveled via the (Q) line (via 2nd Avenue, Broadway, Manhattan Bridge, and Brighton), and through Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue till reaching the Coney Island Yard.

Northbound, the R32 traveled via the (D), (F), and (Q) lines (via West End, 4th Avenue, Manhattan Bridge, 6th Avenue, 63rd Street, and 2nd Avenue), to get from the Coney Island Yard to 96th Street-2nd Avenue.
