This is a beginners guide to drawing a flatbed for a pickup truck using Solid Works 2024 and weldments. Inside this video we will go over the basics of weldments and how to use them in a 3D drawing. We will draw a flatbed frame for a pickup truck and all of the frame and headache rack pieces needed for a complete build. We will be using 2x6 and 2x3 framing and how to place them correctly in the drawing. After which you will be able to cutout all of the pieces and have them fit correctly when you goto do your build.

Also there will be step by step instructions in the future of how to build a frame to build your bed on as well as detailed instructional videos in a step by step fashion to build your own bed for your own truck in a simple and easy step by step idiot proof way.
