SculpSure is the world’s first Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cleared laser treatment for noninvasive lipolysis of the flanks and abdomen. Our double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Bill Aydin, believes that this state-of-the-art, controlled light-based technology is ideal for patients looking to get rid of stubborn fat on their bodies. SculpSure efficiently treats areas of troublesome fat in just 25 minutes at our office in Paramus, NJ or White Plains, NY. In the following days, the body will naturally eliminate the disrupted fat cells with results seen as quickly as 6 weeks and the best results are usually seen in 12 weeks.
SculpSure laser lipolysis is performed by our plastic surgeon and like Coolsculpting™ which requires multiple treatments and is often described by patients as uncomfortable, SculpSure is one treatment with very minimal discomfort. During 1 session, patients can have up to 4 areas treated in 25 minutes. As the laser system is passed over the body, the energy from the laser reaches fat cells without affecting the skin or other cells. The disrupted fat cells are broken down and will be processed naturally out of the body in about 12 weeks. Patients are able to leave after a brief recovery period to resume their normal activities. Patients should avoid strenuous activity and exercise for at least 2 days after their SculpSure session.
