This is a railroad documentary video on The Story of Santa Fe 5704 |SD45T-2|. This locomotive has had a very interesting history as it has been in service for 35 years for the Santa Fe and later BNSF Railroads. It is currently being preserved and fully restored by the Southern California Railway Museum. Santa Fe 5704 was one of five locomotives to receive Santa Fe's Bicentennial paint jobs. This locomotives has been fully restored cosmetically within the last few years. This is a very unique locomotive because of its pain scheme and especially now that it's been fully restored.
