Lyell discovered, when he had a medical emergency on a liveaboard trip that having "dive accident insurance" wasn't quite enough to cover all of the costs included in an interrupted trip. Many dive trips can be quite expensive and having the appropriate insurance may come in very handy for those unexpected moments when your trip is lost or ruined! In this episode Lyell discusses travel insurance that is offered by our friends at Divers Alert Network (DAN) and why divers should consider adding this for their protection!
