This project uses goats to remove briars instead of heavy machine and herbicides. Using herbicides is ruining our ecology and only targets the symptoms not the problem, heavy machinery results in soil compaction and habitat loss. Using goats however, will help to connect with nature again.
Giving a helping hand by knocking down the brias so the goats can easily access them . The goats relishes the briars all year round. They will eat all the way down to the woody part, which then will be removed with a slash hook. Once this area is cleared a native hedge will be set and woodland will be extended.
