Have you ever been asked who God is? Many people ask this question and receive a variety of different answers. God loves each of us and desires that we grow by knowing and loving Him.
According to Matthew 28:19, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, is the Son of God. He is one of the three eternal members of the Godhead. When Jesus told His disciples to preach the gospel, He commanded them to baptize them in the name of the Father, of the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Remember that Jesus is the Son, not because He was created, but because He shares the same divine nature as God the Father. There is so much to say about God and Jesus Christ, and the Bible provides a great deal of divine information about who God is and who Jesus is.
