I'm here with 50th year birthday boy Paul Baxter. Catching a fish a chuck. His stepson is fishing further along the bank. A bit of range for my camera but can just about reach him.
He's on rod n line, Paul's on pole at 5m.
Chilly October day but the river is only just kicking in frankly, usually does at this time of year.
It's a glorious winter venue, a couple of days after the first winter league match and it is still very busy.
