The Surcouf was a one of a kind submarine. It was the largest submarine ever built at the time. Built as cruiser submarine, it had two massive guns in a rotating turret. Enough to challenge surface vessels. A trainable torpedo allowing it to attack multiple angles at once, and a floatplane store inside its hull for long range reconnaissance.

After the fall of France it spent World War serving under the Free French Navy but it met its untimely and controversial demise in 1942.
