The Dargah in Delhi has been the scene of a huge peaceful demonstration and sloganeering demanding the detention of suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. The Jama Masjid's Shahi Imam stated that the mosque authorities had not issued a protest call. Later on Majeed Memon, NCP Leader spoke about the protest that outraged all over the country. After scores of people showed up with signboards and chant slogans against suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma over her offensive comments on Prophet Muhammad, Shahi Imam of the Jama Masjid in New Delhi claimed that he was unaware of any calls for protest.
