Little Scientist #11: Photosynthesis and Floating Leaf-Disks
Objective:
1. To expose participants on the importance of photosynthesis to living things.
2. To demonstrate on the relationship between light intensity and rate of photosynthesis.
Description:
Photosynthesis is important to living organisms because it is the number one source of oxygen in the atmosphere. Without photosynthesis, the carbon cycle could not occur, plants would not survive and the oxygen-requiring life would die. In this video, we will look at how intensity of light, a crucial factor in photosynthesis, affects the speed of the process.
