"I Wanna Be with You" is a song by The Raspberries, released in November 1972, written by Eric Carmen, who also provided the lead vocals. It was their first single from their second LP, Fresh and became their second greatest US hit.

The Raspberries was an American pop-rock band formed in 1970 from Cleveland, Ohio.
