Deputy president William Ruto arrived in New york, United States ahead of the 71st session of the United Nation General Assembly.
Ruto who will be representing President Uhuru Kenyatta at the summit, was accompanied by 6 cabinet secretaries among them foreign affairs CS Amina Mohammed and her devolution counterpart Mwangi Kiunjuri. Various leaders in the crucial summit will discuss among others the implementation of the new global development goals, adopted by its 193 member States last year. UNGA is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations and the only one in which all member nations have equal representation.
