I had the privilege of flying out to the motherland of all things Ferrari recently: the firm’s iconic Maranello HQ and adjacent Fiorano test track.
Soon after I arrived, I was thrown the keys to one of Ferrari’s latest gems: the 296 GTB – a 830hp hybrid monster that I didn’t hesitate in exploiting on the stunning mountain roads nearby.
