Mount Batur, an active volcano, last erupted in 2000. We took a Jeep for a sunrise view, two others trekked abit more with their flip flops on and nearly did not make it back down😂. This would be my second visit, hiked all the way up from a different route, taking around 3 hours due to steep and rocky surfaces. It is considered an easy to moderate level hike. Mt Batur is located in the Northeast Kintami district of Bali, with a peak elevation of 1,717 metres above sea level.
