Isuzu Motors India has introduced a new variant to its D-MAX range. The new D-MAX 1.7 Single Cab Cab-Chassis Std variant is priced at an attractive introductory price of INR 9,99,990 (ex-showroom, Chennai) and is now available for bookings. The D-MAX 1.7 Single Cab Cab-Chassis Std variant is designed to offer flexibility and versatility, making it an ideal choice for various industries such as perishables, FMCG, food and catering services, and last-mile delivery. This new variant is powered by a 2.5-liter ISUZU 4JA1 4-cylinder engine, known for its durability and efficiency. The engine puts out 78 hp of peak power and 176 Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The vehicle boasts an aerodynamic exterior that gives it a bold and aggressive look. Inside, the D-MAX features high-quality fabric upholstery and height-adjustable seat belts, ensuring comfort for the driver and passengers. The Multi-Information Display (MID) cluster, equipped with a Gear Shift Indicator (GSI), helps drivers optimize fuel efficiency and manage torque effectively. The new D-MAX variant includes front and rear crumple zones, a cross car front beam, door side intrusion, a collapsible steering column, and underbody steel protection for the drivetrain. Additionally, the Brake Override System (BOS) enhances safety by cutting power to the engine during panic braking situations.
