Indian farmers staged the biggest protest in world history in order to force the government to take back reforms that would have ended an important subsidy. That subsidy was introduced in the 1960's to prop-up an American way of farming intended to save India from famine... but decades later, those techniques are destroying farmers’ health, finances, and land.
