I am on the journey to a VIPKid Minimalist Classroom. I started out with VIPKid believing I needed a lot of props and rewards. I spent a lot of money and time on these endeavors. I had baskets for each class and finally got tired of the mess that came through after each morning of teaching VIPKid classes. I started becoming a Minimalist and hearing how other teachers had decided to minimalize their classroom and stick to the basics. If you look back at my videos, you can see that this is a journey. I am still figuring out what my end goal is but I keep taking it a layer at a time. My next goal is to try to teach outside of my permanent teaching area. I want my VIPKid classroom to work for me wherever I am. I want to inspire teachers to create simple life by only keeping the things that matter.
I plan to teach my classes for a week and using a limited amount of props and lighting. If you want to less the craziness of the VIPKid tornadoes then start taking one challenge at a time. It is so nice not having to plan forever and ever. Everything I have has a home and is in arms reach.
