STORYLINE:
Thousands of people crowded special outdoor markets in Hong Kong on Sunday on the eve of the Lunar New Year.
The biggest flower market in Causeway Bay's Victoria Park was packed with last-minute shoppers, as well as families browsing the market as a traditional activity.
Stuffed monkey toys were also on sale at the markets to mark the coming Year of the Monkey.
There will be a three-day public holiday to mark the New Year, which starts at midnight local time (1600GMT) on Sunday.
