Waking up from a nap I took when I was maybe 5-7 months old, only because I heard the music of this song being played by Papa on the harmonium. Staring with wide eyes and watching him sing on a breezy evening, at our home in Ahmedabad. I'd generally be nestled in my Dadaji's embrace, cozied up in my white baby overalls.
And then Lulling my way back to sleep as Mum's soothing voice sang through the Antara of the song, gracefully enunciating the language of love.
Lucky? I'll call myself God's favorite Child. 👶🏻

To be able to sing at all, is the greatest blessing. But to be born to my Parents, is, for me, the cherry on the cake 🍒

This is merely a small attempt to relive that beautiful melody, and reimagine the sense of belonging for someone, and within someone's identity, while making it one's own.
