A white stone ceremony is a time to listen to the voice of Spirit, your Higher Power, or Inner-Self.
This Sunday, a basket of white stones will have been placed on a small table outside the sanctuary. Please choose one as you enter. This Jerusalem stone which you will hold in your hand will allow Spirit to reveal a new name for you. You will be asked to work with this new name throughout the year to reveal a higher level of consciousness.
During the meditation portion of our service, you will be asked to write the name/word that comes to your mind on your stone, which you will keep. As always during the meditative practice you are not listening to the logical brain. You will be guided to listen to Spirit who will reveal your name/word to you. This is a joyful celebration as well as a revelatory and insightful opportunity for spiritual growth.
