While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”
Matthew 17:5.

Prayer for the day:

The bright cloud and Your voice from heaven reaffirm His divine identity and the significance of His mission.
Lord, I pray that You open my ears and my heart to truly listen to Your Son, just as You commanded on that sacred mountain. Help me to not only hear His words but to understand their depth and significance. May I heed His teachings and follow His example in my daily life.
I thank You for sending Jesus as the ultimate revelation of Your love and truth. May I draw near to Him in prayer and study of Your Word, seeking to know Him more intimately. Empower me to live a life that reflects His teachings and glorifies Your name.
Father, I also pray for the strength and wisdom to share the message of Jesus with others, that they too may come to know Him as the beloved Son of God and the source of salvation. Use me as an instrument of Your grace to lead others to a deeper relationship with Jesus.
