Third video on my little adventure of "passive income" with stock photography. Calling it passive income with an initial overhead time investment of uploading and tagging your photos onto stock photography websites. In 2020, I decided to stop watching youtube videos on stock photography and start uploading some onto adobe stock (fotolia) and shutterstock. This is my late mid year update from 2021 looking at the month to month earnings and downloads per month from January to June. I've been happy with the progress and this first six months, I've made enough passively to pay off my photoshop and lightroom subscription. My goal with stock photography is to maintain an annual income that will cover my overhead cost of software subscriptions such as smugmug, ADOBE subscriptions, and website host and doamin. I am planning to do more with ALAMY and 123RF in the future but so far I haven't had any downloads on them.

So many youtubers mention stock photography as a passive income so I wanted to provide more information on my experiences in the last half year and how much I have earned on both platforms after starting it in 2020 (considered late in creating a portfolio). As of June I made it to level 2 on shutterstock. Hoping to hit level 3 this year.
