The easiest, most straightforward way to fix a double-tapped circuit breaker is with a pigtail connection. If a double-tapped circuit breaker is also overloaded, the circuit needs to be split apart. This can be done by adding another breaker, replacing the breaker with a tandem breaker, or adding on a subpanel.
