[ Ссылка ] | The Hyde Floor Scraper (Tool No. 19450) is a heavy duty, long-handled scraper designed for tough flooring removal jobs -- everything from tile, to linoleum, and even paint or carpet glue on concrete.
The Floor Scraper comes with a 4-inch blade already installed, but you can also separately purchase a 6-inch blade, as well as replacement 4-inch blades.
It also comes in 3 lengths: 54” (Tool No. 19450) and 48" (Tool No. 19450), which have nice long handles so you don’t have to bend or stoop so much when scraping a floor, and 18" (Tool No. 19430) if you need to get into tight spaces like underneath counters or in closets.
You’ll notice that your blade has a ground, or beveled, edge. There’s actually a right and wrong way to install the blade, depending on the makeup of the subfloor you’re scraping. If you’re scraping on a soft subfloor, like wood, you want the beveled edge facing down. This prevents accidental gouging of the floor. The lower the angle of your handle, the more your blade will "float" so it doesn’t catch on the subfloor. If you’re scraping on a hard subfloor, like concrete, flip the blade over so the flat side is facing down.
