The ISKCON or the International Society for Krishna Consciousness has established various temples for the worshipping of Lord Krishna in other parts of the country. The one in Raipur of Chhattisgarh is also quite popular and also known as Sri Sri Radha Rasbihari Temple. On Rathyatra and Janmastami, these festivals are hugely celebrated in these temples with grandeur and eloquence. Hence, if you are planning to visit the temple make sure to visit it during these festivals as it would also give you one of the first hand experiences of these magnanimous festivals. One can also visit it during the afternoons, when the “bhog” or the food that is served to the Lord is given to eat. The meals are said to be quite tasty and hygienic too.
