The holidays are right around the corner, and this year we’re going to help you get into the holiday spirit by making some easy DIY decorations at home!
In this video, Denika will show you how to make this beautiful do-it-yourself Bulb Christmas Tree step-by-step, and prove how easy it is for you to make it yourself at home!

Here's what you'll need:
•2" Pine, Cut to Size
•Saw to Cut Wood
•Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
•Drill with Pre Drill Bit
•6 Screws
•Stain of Your Choice
•Wood Glue
•Scissors
•Sandpaper
•Bulbs/Ornaments of Your Choice
Here's the process:
1. Cut the 2" pine to 20 degrees on the base sides, and 50 degrees at the top.
2. Sand down the wood so it's nice and smooth
3. Line up your pieces of wood, and use the pre-drill bit to drill holes to connect the pieces. This prevents the wood from cracking
4. Dab a little bit of wood glue on each of the joints
5. Line up the joints and secure with your screws
6. Apply your stain. Be sure to place a sheet of paper under the wood if you're concerned about leaving a stain on your work surface.
7. Use your glue gun to secure your ornaments to the base and sides of the triangle you've created, and to one another until the tree is filled. A good tip here is to place larger ornaments in first, and then fill up empty spaces with the smaller bulbs.
