It's very important to take note that these fish can grow up to 12 inches long. Caring for the kissing gourami isn't too difficult but you need to make sure you have enough adequate aquarium space. This fish mainly feed on algae and plantlike matter. My wife kept on complaining that I was splashing water around the tank. However on closer inspection and spending a little time watching we found out who the culprit was.

His airbladder is punctured , which provides bouyancy to fish. Take him out and put in other small tank and turn on the filter so that flowing water can move easily through its gill.

Hey everyone! Can anyone recommend a good adjustable hob filter for a 6 gal? I have a new betta coming in and mine are a bit too much for him..i already have sponge filters, but i wanted options and need recommendations for a good HOB Adjustable filter...again 6 gallon aquarium..pic of my betta coming for attention!! I believe Aqua clear hobs have an adjustable flow. I had one for many years and their current design I think is unchanged because it works well.. so you could over size the filter to some degree but use it on a lesser flow. My current hob and most I think aren’t adjustable.... but I don’t know all the models out there.
