In this ‘Beginners guide to Overlay Mosaic Crochet' video we'll show you the basics of the Overlay Mosaic Crochet technique. This mosaic crochet technique uses chain spaces and trebles to create clever geometric designs, without needing to change colour mid-row. Most Overlay Mosaic Crochet patterns will have a chart to follow - this tutorial is only to show you how the technique works and is not a complete pattern. The pattern used in this video is from the Magic Carpet Crochet-Along by Rosina Plane that starts in issue 110 of Simply Crochet magazine - if you would like to follow the pattern you can find out how to get your copy here - [ Ссылка ]
Thank you to Rosina Plane from [ Ссылка ] for helping us with this video. If you’re following the Magic Carpet CAL in Simply Crochet magazine and want further advice, you can find an extended version of this Inset Mosaic Crochet tutorial video with some extra tips and tricks here - [ Ссылка ]
This video uses UK terminology, and you will need to know how to chain, double crochet in the back loop (US SC), and treble crochet (US DC). If you need any help with these techniques you can find our tutorials here - [ Ссылка ]
