Researchers have completed a landmark study detailing the genomic landscape of medulloblastoma—the most common malignant pediatric brain tumor. The study took an integrated approach to genomic analysis and is among the largest whole genome sequencing studies for any type of cancer. Medulloblastoma is diagnosed in 250 to 500 individuals annually in the U.S., mostly in those younger than 16 years old.
