For student athletes, the college recruiting process begins today.

Regardless of what grade you are in, in high school you need to take an aggressive approach to recruiting today. I was browsing around on Facebook and there’s a recruiting group where high school players can post their information, hoping to get recruited.

Much to my surprise, there are a significant number of student athletes in that group who have graduated high school. Some have been out of high school three years and are still looking to get into college.

What this tells me is that the student athletes and their parents are still being uneducated and misinformed on how the recruiting process works.
