An E-Z-RECT Type 1 shelf level consists of 2 steel beams and a chipboard deck, installation only requires a mallet and takes less than a minute to complete.
First decide how high the shelf needs to be, Type 1 posts have slots set every 2 inches (50mm). Shelf support beams (front and back) need to be slotted in between the posts - make sure both ends are going into the same slot level and tap down with the mallet to secure.
Once the shelf supports are in place simply slide the board into place so that it sits on top of the rails but within the retaining flanges at either end.
All done!
