In this video I talk about how broadcast TV stations like ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox will begin to encrypt their ATSC 3.0 signals starting in the summer. This means that current NextGen TV tuners will not be able to decode them. Does this mean recent 3.0 tuners are already obsolete? What does the encryption mean for free over the air TV?
