JAHN SOOD AND ALL THE BROKEN PARTS performed at 9:30pm on Monday September 9th at the historic Metropolitan Room (34 W 22nd St. New York, NY 10010).
The evening featured performances by: Jahn Sood, Margo Seibert (Tamar of the River, Pregnancy Pact), Rebecca Naomi Jones (Passing Strange, American Idiot), Claybourne Elder (Bonny & Clyde, Venice), Mary Kate Morrissey (Hair), Jason SweetTooth Williams (Bloodsong of Love), Lizzie Hagsdedt (Southern Comfort), Luke Wygodny (Last Goodbye, American Idiot tour), Rebekah Melocik, Jeremy Yaddaw (35mm, The Disappearing Man) and Felice Kuan, and was music directed by Brian Cavanagh-Strong (The Disappearing Man).
Sood is a singer-songwriter and musical theater lyricist-composer, author of The Disappearing Man, Vital Signs and With You Always. The September concert included his latest work as well as music by: Brian Cavanagh-Strong and Max Mamon. The band appeared in the concert "Arts & Crafts in Mourning" as part of Ars Nova's ANTFEST in June, and Sood's musical the Disappearing Man was presented in April at Joe's Pub.
