Hyundai is apparently getting ready to update the Ioniq 5 with a larger battery pack, less than a year after it arrived in select markets.

A report from Korea claims that the updated Ioniq 5 now features no less than 32 2.4 kW battery modules, as opposed to the 30 modules of current models sold in Europe and Asia. This will increase battery capacity from 72.6 kWh to 77.4 kWh.
