Advice I would give a physician looking into locum tenens is to definitely give it a try. You can sign up for one assignment, see how you like it, see if different environments are to your liking.
Maybe you’ve been out of the hospital, you want to try the hospital again. You don’t have to feel like you’re contracted into it. You can go and see if maybe that is what – the type of job you do like. And then you can see different patient populations, different cultures, experience different locations because there are some places that are really in need and they will financially help you get there and obtain the license.
