On June 19, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new campus of Nalanda University near the ancient ruins in Rajgir, Bihar. The event was attended by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and ambassadors from 17 partner countries, marking a significant moment for the university.
