Here we see The first major Gala of the new year from The Great Central Railway with their Winter Gala. Another show stopper was pulled out the bag with days to spare! BR 9F No. 92214 'Cock O' The North' (NYMR) attended and then was Purchased by and is now based at the GCR as of 27/1/14, the news of the purchase just days after the gala took place was very welcome. Also visiting was GWR 56XX No. 5643 from 'The Furness Railway Trust'. Unfortunatly NCB J94 No. 22 should have been put to use at the gala but failed on a mudhole door a few hours prior to the gala. Also with the usual working home fleet of 8 locomotives.
