Jonathan W Friedberg, MD, MMSc, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, briefly explains strategies that may be used to continue improving cure rates in Hodgkin lymphoma (HL), drawing focus on the importance of improving risk stratification. Dr Friedberg also comments on the growing role of checkpoint inhibitors in the treatment of HL, and the importance of minimizing treatment with intensive chemotherapy where possible.
