Minister of State for Home, Kiren Rijiju today assured people of Arunachal Pradesh that he is there to safeguard the interests of the people of his state, said people without proper knowledge about the Citizenship Bill is spreading rumours and misleading the people.
Referring to the unrest in Assam, he said its more of an emotional, sentimental issue.
