The goal of this video was to to test out the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera as a rolling shot cam. It's a really great camera, and with the right settings, can be a fill in for a larger DSLR. With the 1" sensor it has excellent low light and nice depth of field that action cams don't give you. Add in some nice polarized ND filters and it can really perform at its best.
For these tests I attached the Pocket 3 to a suction mount both on my car as well as a leader car. No need to hang out the side of the window or out the back of a minivan. If the camera person is inside the lead car, they can maintain a wi-fi connection with the camera on the phone using the DJI Mimo app. This gives you pan/tilt/zoom control as well as tracking, aperture, iso, shutter, and photo options.
I'm not sure how it will hold up at high speeds as the gimbal will get a lot of wind resistance.
